  • Born and raised in Hong Kong, Alester has competed at the highest level in US Division 1 college tennis and internationally. After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Quinnipiac University, Alester moved to Canada to pursue his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Western University to follow his passion with sports excellence and rehab. Having a strong foundation with human anatomy and physiology, Alester takes a holistic, whole person perspective to address the unique needs of each patient, optimizing your mobility and returning you to your activities as effectively as possible.

    Alester has a variety of experiences treating patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions in all walks of life. Combining evidence informed approaches with manual therapy, tailored education and functional exercises, he strivesto provide the tools and the confidence to help you take charge of your own health proactively. A successful rehab is not just about managing the pain, it is also about overcoming it and getting back to what you love doing, stronger.

    As a former athlete, Alester understands how much of a setback that an injury can have. His down-to-earth mentality allows him to relate to his patients and gain an understanding of the physical demands placed on the body, informing his care. Alester has a strong interest in working with racquet sports individuals and is currently taking professional development courses in Advanced Manual Therapy, Acupuncture and Shoulder Rehabilitation.

    Outside of being a clinician, Alester likes to stay active and is an avid foodie, eager to explore new food spots in Toronto. After retiring from competitive tennis, he found a new passion in boxing and rock climbing—activities that continue to challenge him both physically and mentally. His love for movement extends beyond sports and into his practice, where he is passionate about helping others find freedom through functional movement. Because every body deserves to move pain-free.

Registered Physiotherapist

  • Ṣèyí Oladipo is a Registered Massage Therapist, licensed after completing her Massage Therapy Diploma at Bryan College. She also holds an academic background in Psychology and Neuroscience from Wilfrid Laurier University.

    Her practice is rooted in integrative alignment and neuromuscular rehabilitation, supporting clients through injury recovery, chronic conditions, inflammation, neurological concerns, postural imbalances, and the unique needs of perinatal and women’s health. She also works with geriatric populations and incorporates energetic alignment to address the deeper connections between the physical body, mind, and spirit.

    Rather than focusing solely on pain relief, Ṣèyí emphasizes restoring balance, mobility, and resilience. She integrates hands-on treatment with movement education, functional mobility, and yoga-based homecare, empowering clients to continue their healing beyond the treatment room.

    Her approach blends clinical precision with a holistic philosophy: she believes true wellness emerges when the nervous system, body, and spirit return to harmony.

    Outside of practice, Ṣèyí is a spoken word artist, community organizer, and advocate for Pan-Africanism. She is passionate about creating spaces that empower people to reclaim their healing and step fully into alignment.

Registered Massage Therapist

  • Dr. Lawrence graduated from CMCC in 2015 following a Human Kinetics degree from Guelph University. With a strong foundation in human movement and performance, she brings both clinical expertise and a practical understanding of how the body functions in everyday life and sport.

    Dr. Lawrence integrates her knowledge of movement and performance, orthopedic assessment skills and understanding of hormonal influences on tolerance, capacity and recovery into her clinical care. Her approach is comprehensive and individualized, blending chiropractic adjustments with soft tissue therapy and active rehabilitation. She focuses on how the body is functioning as a whole while also considering lifestyle, goals and long-term health. Whether you are managing pain or looking to optimize performance, care is tailored to meet you where you are at.

    Her philosophy centres on getting to the root of the issue, rather than simply chasing symptoms. She prioritizes effective pain management, clear and empowering education and guidance beyond recovery so that you can move, feel, live and perform at your best with confidence.

    Outside of the clinic you can find Dr. Lawrence walking her pup, playing pickleball, working out or spending time at local cafes in search of the city’s best London Fog.

    Her passion for her work combined with a down-to-earth nature fosters a welcoming and engaging experience rooted in collaboration and meaningful outcomes.

Chiropractor

  • Jenny holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Western University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Toronto. Her academic achievements, combined with her extensive clinical experience, make her a well-rounded and compassionate physiotherapist.

    Jenny has worked with patients of all ages, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Her approach is patient-centered, holistic, and evidence-based, combining education, hands-on therapy, and exercise to help individuals achieve their goals.

    Jenny also has specialized training in pelvic floor physiotherapy, addressing concerns like incontinence, pelvic pain, prenatal birth prep and postpartum recovery. Her expertise has empowered countless individuals to regain confidence and improve their pelvic health and overall quality of life.

    When she’s not helping clients move better, Jenny loves to move herself—whether it’s unleashing her dance moves, jamming out to her favorite tunes, or fiercely competing with friends in games.

Registered Physiotherapist

  • Hagen Kals is a Manual Osteopath with a lifelong passion for health, movement, and the human body. His journey began as an athlete competing in volleyball, floorball, field hockey, long-distance running, cycling, and triathlon; an experience that sparked his interest in anatomy, biomechanics, and the body’s capacity to heal.

    Hagen earned his degree in Physiotherapy in Germany, gaining valuable experience in rehabilitation and chronic pain management. Afterwards, he went on to complete a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture from Middlesex University in London, UK, and later obtained his Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice.

    With over a decade of experience in healthcare and fitness, Hagenintegrates a variety of manual techniques including mobilizations, muscle energy techniques, visceral manipulation, and cranial therapy to address restrictions, restore function, and support the body’s natural healing abilities. His treatments are highly individualized, emphasizing patient education and empowering individuals to understand and take charge of their health.

    Hagen believes in a collaborative, team-based approach to care, working closely with patients and other healthcare professionals to uncover root causes and achieve lasting results. His ultimate goal is to guide the body toward balance, resilience, and optimal well-being.

Manual Osteopath

  • Gurleen is a Registered Massage Therapist with a deep passion for movement, sports, and nervous system care. Her treatments are results-driven while remaining deeply attuned to the body, helping clients recover from pain, improve mobility, and feel more connected to their bodies.

    When she’s not providing sports massage treatments, Gurleen works with infants, mothers, and families through Craniosacral Therapy, supporting gentle nervous system regulation and whole-body healing. She is also a yoga teacher who integrates breathwork, mindfulness, and sound healing into her broader wellness practice.

    Outside the treatment room, you’ll likely find her playing basketball, running along the beach, or enjoying a good latte in a cozy café.

  • Marquise Swaby completed his Master of Physical Therapy at Western University, following a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Kennesaw State University. He has extensive experience treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, concussions, and performance-related injuries in athletes ranging from recreational to professional levels.

    Marquise is recognized for working with complex and persistent musculoskeletal presentations that have not fully responded to prior care. Through detailed assessment, clinical reasoning, and individualized programming, he helps patients move past perceived treatment plateaus and regain confidence in their bodies. His approach integrates manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, progressive loading, and education to support sustainable recovery. He holds certifications in acupuncture and dry needling, as well as CCMI Concussion Management, and remains committed to ongoing professional development.

    With a strong focus on mentorship and community involvement, Marquise has contributed to Team Canada Women’s Basketball, NBA player-led camps, and entertainment industry professionals, including CoComelon Party Time performers. He has also led and supported mentorship initiatives, educational programming, and community discussions through Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Western University MPT program, and schools across the Greater Toronto Area.

    Outside of clinical practice, Marquise enjoys exploring diverse cuisines, traveling, and staying active through running, weightlifting, and basketball. He is passionate about empowering individuals through movement, promoting long-term physical and mental well-being, and supporting initiatives that expand access, representation, and resources for marginalized communities.

  • Taija is a warm and reliable member of the administrative team, dedicated to creating a positive and comfortable experience for every patient who visits the clinic. She supports daily operations by managing appointments, assisting with patient coordination, and helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes.

    With a background in Medical Office Administration, Social Work and Digital Marketing, Taija brings a strong understanding of both client care and organization to her role. She takes pride in being approachable, and attentive, always aiming to make each interaction feel easy and stress free.

    Outside of work, Taija enjoys spending time unwinding and focusing on her well being. You’ll often find her baking, relaxing with her favorite shows, or spending time with family and friends. She values balance and believes that feeling your best starts with taking care of yourself. Taija looks forward to welcoming you and helping make your visit a great one!

  • Zessay is a sociable and dependable member of the administrative team. Her experiences in healthcare settings have strengthened her passion for connecting with people and contributing to a supportive healthcare environment.

    Zessay graduated from Western University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology and aims to pursue a patient-facing career where she can make a positive impact on the well-being of others.

    In her free time, Zessay enjoys exploring Toronto’s cafes, working on embroidery, and spending time with friends watching movies or discovering new places around the city. She looks forward to meeting you and streamlining your visit to the clinic!

  • Jaeda is an enthusiastic and dedicated front desk receptionist. She is currently studying Kinesiology at York University, where she is also working towards a certificate in Athletic Therapy. With a strong passion for injury prevention and rehabilitation, Jaeda is committed to helping others achieve optimal health and performance.

    In addition to her studies, Jaeda is gaining valuable hands-on experience as a student athletic therapist, providing on-field and clinical care for varsity athletes. Through her placement, she assists athletes in preventing injuries, recovering from setbacks, and maximizing their performance, further developing her expertise in sports therapy.

    Outside of work and school, Jaeda enjoys staying active through yoga, reading, and playing the piano. Her positive, approachable attitude, combined with her knowledge and passion for health, make her an integral part of our team, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for all our clients.

  • Joanna Stewart is a Registered Social Worker who provides trauma-informed, solution-focused counselling to individuals and couples, along with parenting support across various stages of development.
    As a Black therapist, she is mindful of the uncertainty that can come with seeking counselling and works to create a space where clients feel respected, validated, and supported from the outset.

    Her approach is holistic and client-centered, recognizing that emotional well-being is influenced not only by internal experiences, but also by social, cultural, and environmental factors. Joanna works collaboratively with clients to develop practical and sustainable strategies that support emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and promote long-term well-being.

    Drawing from both her professional training and personal experience engaging in therapy, Joanna values a collaborative process that empowers clients to build meaningful skills for growth. She also supports clients in accessing relevant resources to extend care beyond the therapy space.

    Outside of her clinical work, Joanna values creating space for rest, reflection, and connection, and is passionate about supporting individuals in building lives that feel balanced, meaningful, and aligned with their values.
